The Paschimesvara Temple located at Gangadhara Prasada village under Bhapur block of Dhenkanal district and near left bank of Sapua River. The temple has a pidha vimana & khakhara jagamohana, which is an impoverished form of Kalingan style temple architecture. Both the components are joined by an antarala of impoverished Kalingan order. The exterior of the temple is plain, except horizontal plain band and parsvadevata images such as Ganesa, Kartikeya & Parvati. Deula charinis and dopichhasimhas are found on the beki, Dopichhasimhas and rampant lions are also found at the kanthi portion of the gandi in the vimana. Pilaster designs and astagrahas found in the jagamohana. Nandi pillar found at the centre of the antarala and a Kanaka Mundi over the deity. Architectural member and doorjambs having dvarapala figures. On the basis of architectural feature and local tradition, the temple can be dated to the 18th century AD.
